Situation Impossible:

The time your mother loses all trust she every had with you in a period of 1 day is the time you cry yourself to sleep every night after in hope things get better. Moms are weird, some don't care what you do and other care way to much it seems but every mom loves their kid the same. The pressure they put on teens feels unreal, you know your not a bad kid why can't they see it? Why don't they understand that most the pressure they put on us just makes us want to do bad things even worse? They were our age once, don't they understand us at all? It feels almost like teens are some foreign beast in the eyes of their mothers.

Teens try so hard to please their mother and most of the time they just give up and begin not to care. They tell us we don't appreciate anything and do as little as possible but they don't see what we do because its almost like they're looking for every bad thing we do, to tell us we did it wrong. Do they realize every word they say to us and behind our backs that it hurts? Even when we try to talk it almost feels like they ignore us or come up with something to say that we're only thinking about ourselves, saying "poor me" because we don't want to worry about anyone else but ourselves. I don't know about you but I care for every single one of my friends and family, I would drop whatever I'm doing just to help them out but moms don't see that it seems like. Taking an emotional beating because you can't do anything to save yourself.

I don't want this blog to be a "pour me my life is so bad" blog, I want people to realize there are so many other teens out there that feel like this and hopefully to give the mother an eye opener on how your teens must feel. Don't come down so hard on us, we're really going through that change from a child to an adult and we don't need someone telling us every wrong move we make we need to figure out for ourselves. We need to figure out our wrong moves for ourselves, just because you don't want us to make the same mistake you did doesn't mean it wont eventually happen to us. We need to learn everything and if we happen to smoke and drink just don't let us do it in front of you or in your house. We do everything you don't want us to do because when people tell you no it just makes your temptation for it worse not better.

We want to learn and grow like you did, let us. Cut off the strings but make it known its still your roof they're living under so they must respect you. We respect you as much as you respect us. Give us a chance to live.
